About Phlebotomy Geek Training
At Phlebotomy Geek Training, we’re committed to encouraging both staff and students to continuously create, grow and learn in the field of Phlebotomy. Our curriculum reflects this commitment, as well as the diverse backgrounds of our instructors and participants alike.
Toya Beattie is the founder of Phlebotomy Geek Training. She obtained her Phlebotomy certification with ASCP, and her Phlebotomy Instructor certification with NPA. Toya has held the role of the pre-analytical and Outreach Supervisor and was also the Coordinator of Long Term Care services.
Her professional experience of 30 years is broad in Phlebotomy, Laboratory Outreach Services, customer service, Management and teaching.
It was through her own personal development and accomplishments, and her passion for teaching that inspired her to help others, and she developed Phlebotomy Geek Training.

Keeping the instructors of Phlebotomy Geek up to date by continually participating in continuing education and by continually incorporating the latest educational and technical innovations.
Assisting students to develop strategies to enhance their critical thinking abilities, to take charge of their own learning, and to learn the merits of continuing professional development.
Providing an environment conducive to stimulating interest in phlebotomy education and participating in professional organizations and encouraging awareness in changing trends in medical laboratory technology.
